Product Characteristics

The milk used is from free range cows, which have been raised without the use of animal growth hormones.

Flavor/Texture - Characteristic cheddar flavor free from foreign flavors, odours, objectionable sourness and bitterness.
Appearance - Uniform, pale, creamy yellow colour. Free from objectionable matter.
Functionality - Firm, smooth body with close texture.
Ingredients - Pasteurised Milk, Salt, Cultures, Rennet

 
Shelf Life - When stored under the above conditions the fitness for purpose and quality of the unopened product will be retained for 270 days from the day of packaging. The product should be consumed within fourteen days of opening when stored in the refrigerator.

Once opened re-wrap cheese in new plastic wrap to prevent it drying out or forming mould and store in its own airtight container to prevent cross contamination from other foods in refrigerator. Freezing of this cheese is not recommended as freezing affects texture, flavour and composition of the thawed product.
